📢 ALERT: 2026 VFW National Convention Moved
The National Council of Administration has voted to change the location and dates of the 2026 National VFW Convention.
- Old Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
- Old Dates: August 14–19, 2026
- New Location: Reno, Nevada
- New Dates: July 24–30, 2026
Please note: This means the National Convention will take place three weeks earlier than originally scheduled.

The Western Conference leadership recognizes the value of open discussion with the candidates for Jr. Vice Commander-in-Chief. As part of the Western Conference Business Session in Boise, Idaho, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, a town hall-style forum will be held beginning at 9:00 a.m.
